Romingo is reinventing pet-friendly travel by providing a user-friendly platform for travelers to book stays at dog-welcoming properties. They offer hand-selected hotel partners in popular travel destinations throughout the United States. Users will experience $0 in pet fees, lowest room rates, allowance of up to two dogs at 75 lbs. each, and dog beds, bowls, and treats provided. Additionally, Romingo builds a community around travel enthusiasts and dog owners to discover the best travel and lifestyle tips when it comes to pet ownership. The brand can be described as bright, friendly, accessible, and transparent.  Romingo aims to provide users a pleasant and hassle-free travel experience every time.

Romingo is an innovative start-up where I had the opportunity to work closely with the CEO to position the brand in its early stages during its initial launch. Aside from my routine key duties (listed on the right), I also took ownership of side projects such as sourcing freelancers for larger scale paid ad campaigns, generating business sell sheets for potential hotel partners, and creating dog-friendly travel e-books.

key duties
  • Incorporate branding toolkit in all digital assets to convey brand voice holistically across all channels

  • Collaborate with micro-marketing agency (Hello-Jay) to refine social media strategy, including content curation and creation

  • Provide feedback for website user experience

  • Send weekly email newsletters/campaigns

  • Provide visual direction for online presence

  • Create multi-channel ad campaigns to build brand awareness

  • Brainstorm and write SEO-driven blog content to increase monthly website visits

  • Work closely with CEO to develop promotional marketing strategies (e.g. referral marketing, influencer collaborations)

  • Monetize blog via affiliate marketing opportunities
